ROFFEKE: How has your film career (and/or life in general) grown or changed since you submitted your film to ROFFEKE? What projects are you currently working on?
KEITA NISHIDA: I was able to participate in several festivals with my short film “Wearable Android”. After that I made one or two short films, but I have been away from filmmaking for the last few years. For the last 10 years I have been working on non-film projects and raising my children. Now my daughter is 16 and my son is 12.
ROFFEKE: What projects would you like to work on in the future?
KEITA: The other day, I had a drink with my film friends after a long time. And we talked about making another film.
ROFFEKE: What lessons did you learn during the Covid era?
KEITA: Actually, the Covid era did not have a big impact on my life. But still, I feel that we have entered a new era, where we can do many things online.
ROFFEKE: What are your thoughts on Artificial Intelligence?
KEITA: Artificial intelligence is sometimes useful. But only when I am taming them. They often lie. So I ask them what I know, but not what I don't know. I don't trust them completely.

Here are some of my favorite Japanese rock bands: one is Hitsujibungaku. The other is BRANDY SENKI.
